Hi, I’m Bilal.
Curious about what makes buildings work.

I’m Bilal Lorhlam, based in Casablanca, Morocco. I hold a degree from an ABET-accredited program and have been working in the energy field since 2023. I enjoy getting into the details of a building: how its systems fit together, where energy goes, and how a thoughtful model can help it perform better.

Outside work, you’ll find me making time for gaming and sports. I bring that same curiosity and enthusiasm to the engineering challenges I take on.

My work connects HVAC engineering, whole-building energy modeling, and project leadership. Experience at LG Electronics and Leyton gave me a practical understanding of building systems and how to translate them into energy models.

Today, I’m a 179D Project Lead at Concord Energy Strategies, guiding U.S. commercial building projects from engagement through final deliverables. I’m focused on dedicated energy modeling opportunities where I can bring that technical foundation and end-to-end project perspective.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of U.S. commercial building 179D projects, from engagement through final deliverables.
  • Manage allocation letter drafting and follow up to secure signatures.
  • Perform energy modeling and technical analysis to support project delivery.
  • Manage a team of three professional engineers (PEs), coordinating travel and inspection scheduling.
  • Manage project-related expenses and payroll for engaged contractors.
  • Assist with Investment Tax Credit (ITC) direct pay projects.

  • Coordinated equipment delivery from Saudi Arabia and Korea to Morocco.
  • Conducted field inspections and HVAC commissioning.
